Lots of SNOW!
The day after Christmas, it started snowing in the morning and didn't stop until late at night. And the wind blew terribly which created some big drifts. It also made clearing it challenging, because the wind would blow it back over parts of where you cleared it! The girls were on Christmas break so they didn't have to miss any school, but Doug's work closed that day. NJ shut down interstate 78 and the Garden State Parkway so there was no going anywhere anyway. (such a foreign concept to a born and raised midwesterner!) We probably got about 2 feet of snow which is alot for this area. I know you Chicagoans won't be impressed, but here are some pictures of the aftermath of our BIG storm of 2010!
