Caroline's Thanksgiving Show

The first graders worked really hard at their Thanksgiving presentation. Some of the class dressed up as pilgrims, others were Indians, Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Abe Lincoln, and Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme was Life Long Ago. Caroline was a pilgrim with three other girls. Each child read a quick story they wrote about their life long ago. Then they each mentioned what they are thankful for. (Caroline is thankful for her baby sister) Then they each mentioned their "I have a dream" (Caroline's is for no more sickness) Afterwards, we got to look at all the art projects and poetry they wrote that were displayed around the classroom and the hallway. So very cute and she was so proud and excited!
