On Dec 1, Kaitlin turned 2! We had a little family party, just the 5 of us, because 10 more family members were due to visit in a few days so we saved the big party for then. But the big girls couldn't stand the thought of making Kait wait that long to blow out a candle and open presents, so we served ice cream and let her open anything from us, saving the rest for later. At her doctor's appt that morning, she weighed 24 lbs, and was a model patient. She had no problem letting them stick her toe and squeeze the blood onto slides to test for lead and anemia. Of course the Smarties she was eating probably had something to do with her attitude!
