Nikki has started school finally. She's in second grade, and although she claimed not to want to go, she's coming home with smiles and a skip in her step the last two days. She likes her teacher, and seeing friends. It's been so hot here, she opted to wear the summer alternate uniform the first day, of shorts and a polo shirt. Today was 90+ degrees again and she wore her jumper with a blouse underneath and was overheated. (of course walking home in the hot sun doesn't do much to alleviate the situation...)
