For those of you who don't know, we finally caught up with the rest of the world and bought a Wii system. In honor of the Olympics, we decided to have a "Special Bowling" Tournament. Instead of bowling regular games, we bowled the "Power Bowling" in the training segments to see who could stike down the most pins. We carried flags and sang "Da, da, da da da da da" to the tune of the Olympic theme song. Then, after qualifying rounds to make sure everyone could knock at least 150 pins, we had our tournament. Nikki bowled first, then Caroline, Memah, Daddy and Mommy. Here are the scores ranked in order:
- Nikki - 624 pins
- Dad - 485 pins
- Mom - 459 pins
- Memah - 432 pins
- Caroline - 405 pins
Memah and I made medals with glitter glue on foam, and Caroline was devastated that she didn't earn one. Daddy felt bad for her and let her wear his silver medal for the pictures. But before anyone starts to feel sorry for Caroline and think she was at a disadvantage because she's the youngest at the tender age of 4, let it be known that she held the record until today over 500 pins. She's more likely to whoop all of us than to lose. It was a fun competition. We'll decide later what our next Wii Olympic event will be....
