So I know things are a bit out of order now - I have got a lot of catching up to do on this blog that I neglected pretty much all last year. We went on a wonderful vacation to Virginia - a couple of days after Hurricane Irene slammed into the East Coast so for the first day, Williamsburg was closed - no electricity! But they opened the next day we were there so here are some pics from that day. Note to self: do not take kids to an amusement park the day before taking them to an historical site or they won't find the site much fun...) I'd go back, but I also want to see Jamestown next time.
Caroline wanted to be sure I took a picture of her bravery in approaching and TOUCHING! a horse!
