Last weekend, we drove to Ohio for Doug's sister's wedding shower. The theme was an afternoon tea party and all had to wear hats. Nikki and Caroline had fun making/designing their hats. They took old Easter bonnets and taped tissue paper flowers to it. Caroline was a bit more elaborate as she wanted a whole flower garden on the top of her hat. She had trouble making the flowers but she had no problem directing Nikki and me in what to do. It turned out great! The girls got to see their cousins, Evelyn (age 3) who wouldn't let me take a picture of her with her hat, and Oliver (age 1). They also played with Doug's cousin Jennifer's kids, Brayden and Sierra. What a fun weekend drinking tea, and playing at Grandma Glaze's! Just so you know, Jennifer and I trounced the table at "Hands & Feet" - the family favorite card game. Thank you very much. Then it's off to Chicago! (where I get trounced in "Hands & Feet.") Oh well....
