Well, I'm horribly out of order with my updates since I've basically skipped most of 2011 so far and I apologize. But if we all wait for me to catch up, it'll be years before you see THESE pictures! Therefore, I've decided to post out of order.
My mother is here visiting us for 10 days. We're packing alot in this visit. So far, we've played a LOT of cards (Blitz to be exact), visited the horse stables, and been to the shore on Sandy Hook for a perfect beach day. We're all pretty evenly matched for Blitz - everyone's won legitimately at least a few times - sometimes we play for poker chips, sometimes for chocolate covered raisins, and sometimes for oyster crackers. Winner doesn't have to share, but always does.

Nicole's comment right after I snapped this pic was "Can I see your camera for a second?" Nice try, kiddo. Memah's comment after seeing this picture a few days later was "I should have knocked!"
Sandy Hook with Gelsomino's and Mom! Totally fun day. And in case you are wondering if Doug went, the answer is yes. He just refuses to let me post pictures of him at the beach.

When we went to the horse stables, Kaitlin couldn't have been more excited. When she saw them outside from the parking lot, she began yelling "Hi nah nah!" (Nah means neigh which means horse) Even seeing them up close, she was still so excited. Caroline on the other hand, was very afraid to be up close to them in the stables. We kept telling her there was nothing to fear since the horses were either tied up in their stall, or had a handler walking them. She was still afraid. Apparently for good reason since we heard a commotion a few rows over and a horse broke free and took off outside!
